Creepy, Crawly Critters Visit Blair Library

Some of what are considered the creepiest animals in nature were on hand at the Blair-Preston Public Library last week. The library hosted the Creepy Crawly Creatures live animal program presented by John Moyles from J&R Aquatic Animal Rescue. Moyles showed attendees a python (pictured above) and let attendees watch a chameleon eat a worm from his hand (pictured to the right). He also presented a tarantula, along with various insects and lizards. “Creepy Crawly Creatures lets us have some fun with Halloween while still giving families a meaningful science and animal education experience,” Moyles said. “The animals may look spooky, but they all have an important story to tell.”(Times photographs by Andrew Dannehy)
