Galesville pharmacy to close
Last week, Galesville Hometown Pharmacy announced it would be closing in February.
Customers were greeted with a sign on the door saying the pharmacy would close its doors on Feb. 13.
The topic came up at Monday night’s meeting of the Trempealeau County Board of Supervisors where one supervisor indicated plans are in place to help the community.
“I am a little bit involved,” Supervisor Richard Sacia, who represents Galesville on the board, said. “We are fortunate to have two ex-pharmacy owners in our community… there is something in the works already.”
Sacia indicated it was too soon to say more about the plans.
The current Galesville pharmacy is located on Main Street in Galesville. The building is owned by Reinhart Real Estate Group, according to online property records.
