Raider volleyball loses both matches in doubleheader

A pair of conference losses last Tuesday kept the Arcadia volleyball team focused on continuing to improve as the postseason quickly approaches.

The Raiders dropped both games of a doubleheader on Tuesday, the first a 3-1 loss at the hands of Luther (7-16 overall, 3-6 Coulee Conference). West Salem (12-5, 7-1) earned a season sweep over Arcadia a few hours later, overpowering the Raiders in three sets. Both matches were played at Luther.

Stats and set scores for the matches were not reported to the Times. Arcadia now sits at 4-12 on the season, including a 3-6 conference showing.

Arcadia was scheduled to visit Viroqua on Tuesday before a rematch with G-E-T approaches next Monday.
