Arcadia beats Osseo twice in legion ball

The Arcadia legion baseball team stacked up two more wins last week. 

Tickfer-Erickson Post 17 used a blowout win and a late barn-burner to sweep Osseo Post 324 last Tuesday. 

Post 17 was scheduled to play in the Bi-State tournament this Wednesday before lining up to play G-E-T Post 354 on Thursday on the road.

Post 17 hit double digits in game one last week. 

A five-run fourth inning from visiting Arcadia turned a 1-0 deficit into a major advantage. 

Max Sobotta and Logan Aspenson each had a pair of hits for Post 17, which got six strikeouts from pitcher Prestin Scow. 

Game two took more patience from the road team but still ended in winning fashion—Post 17 used a seventh-inning push to earn the sweep on Tuesday. 

Arcadia secured the lead in the top of the seventh and final inning of game two on a passed ball at home plate and a double from Scow.

Four different players split time on the mound for Arcadia in game two, striking out seven and walking eight.
