Indees get hot in DC win over Eagles
The Independence/Gilmanton boys basketball team caught fire as it picked up its first Dairyland Conference win of the season.
The Indees made nearly half of their shots and scored a season-high 77 points in a road win against Alma/Pepin last Tuesday.
The win put I/G at 2-18 on the season and 1-15 in Dairyland Conference play. The team went to Augusta on Tuesday and will play in Blair-Taylor on Friday this week. The regular season wraps up next week as I/G heads to Osseo-Fairchild on Monday and hosts Melrose-Mindoro in Gilmanton on Thursday.
