Donald A. Lewis

Donald “Don” Allan Lewis, 75, of Pleasantville, died Sunday, June 21, 2026, at Pigeon Falls Health Care Center in Pigeon Falls.
Donald was born January 25, 1951, in Whitehall, to Andrew and Edna (Semb) Lewis. He married Nancy Sveen, October 7, 1972, in Whitehall.
Don served in the U.S. Army from 1971 – 1974, and was stationed in Fulda, Germany. He worked at Keenan’s as a mechanic for most of his career and later at Northwest Auto prior to his retirement.
Don enjoyed hunting and fishing as well as riding the trails on his ATV with his wife. He loved watching his son playing and coaching various sports through the years. There were many family vacations from the Atlantic coast to the Pacific coast and from Canada to Florida. He enjoyed his Sunday “NASCAR naps” but usually woke up for the finish. He was much loved by all that knew him.
Donald is survived by his wife, Nancy, of 53 years; his son, Nicholas; his grandpuppy, Lola; two sisters-in-law: Bonnie Lewis and Caren Schmidt; two brothers-in-law: Arlen (Deb) Sveen and Dennis Amundson; many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Donald was preceded in death by a brother, Richard Lewis; and a sister, Barbara Amundson.
Graveside services with military rites will be held Thursday, July 2, 2026, at 1:00 p.m., at North Beaver Creek Faith Lutheran Cemetery in rural Ettrick. Pastor Sharilyn Wendt will officiate. Visitation will be held Wednesday, July 1, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., at Jack Funeral Home in Whitehall.
