Karen Frederickson

Karen Frederickson, 80, passed away at home, October 21, 2021.

Karen was born to Agnes (Nelson) and Hibbard Amidon, June 4, 1941. She was united in to marriage to Ronald Frederickson, September 19, 1959, at Good Shephard Lutheran Church in Gilmanton. Karen worked on the family farm, milking cows. Growing up, her main job was making ammunition during the war at Presto in Eau Claire.

Karen is survived by her daughters: Ann (Steve) Anderson of Osseo and Becky Fox of Osseo; siblings: Marilyn (Wayne) Wick, Rodney (Betty) Amidon, Debra (Leon) Hayden, and Susan (David) Lisowski; daughter-in-law, Paula Frederickson; grandchildren: Bryan, Michael, Misti Jo, RayAnne, Theodore, Celina, Cyarra (Tony), Austyn, A.J., Zac, Gaige, Dezi, Ahvanalyn and Addi; great-grandchildren: Tyler, Haylie, Allie, Turtle, Mylah, Brooks, Jesco, Everly, Nevaeh, Aariana, Adrian, Camryn and Casten.

Karen was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ronald; and her son, Charles; daughter-in-law, Donna Frederickson; son-in-law, Michael Fox Jr.; and grandchildren: Debbie Jo and Allen; and brother, Leslie Amidon; and Paul Amidon.

A Celebration of Life for Karen will be held Saturday, October 30, 2021, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., at Schiefelbein Funeral Home, 13507 7th Street, Osseo, WI 54758. Burial will take place at South Beef River Lutheran Cemetery at a later date.
