Kathleen (Bautch) Weeks

Mrs. Kathleen (Bautch) Weeks, 71, of Mt. Vernon, passed away Friday, November 26, 2021, at Memorial Health Meadows Hospital in Vidalia, GA, following a brief illness.

Kathleen was born February 13, 1950, to the late Ronald and Bernice Bautch. She was a native of Wisconsin, living most of her life in Mt. Vernon, GA. She was a retired social worker and Catholic by faith.

Those left to cherish her memory include two sons: Patrick (Kimberly) Weeks, and Michael (Tina) Weeks; four grandchildren: Amber Hughes, Megan Galbreath, Shawn Weeks, and Abigail Weeks; 10 great-grandchildren; her dog, Bit Bit; and her squirrel, Petey.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Buford Weeks; and both of her parents.

The family received friends Saturday, November 27, 2021, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., in the chapel of Roberts – Stewart Funeral Home. Funeral services were held Sunday, November 28, 2021, at 2:00 p.m., at Chapel of Roberts – Stewart Funeral Home. Pastor Brian Patrick officiated.

A private family interment will be held at a later date at Mt. Vernon City Cemetery.
