LaVerne “Butch” J. Feuling Jr.

 

We are sad to announce the passing of LaVerne J. Feuling Jr., 57, of Winona, MN, who died October 8, 2022, at Methodist Hospital in Rochester, MN, from a head injury due to a motor cycle accident.

LaVerne, also called “Butch”, was born in Racine, and had a long-life companion, Diane Hicks, along with her four children: William, Crystal, Raymond and Leonard, as well as significant others and grandchildren, who all enjoyed him throughout his life. LaVerne was loved by his family. He enjoyed working on small engine projects, riding motorcycle and snowmobiling. Everything his dad taught him and enjoyed in life, Butch continued as he grew up. He was always willing to help out someone and never turned a stray animal away as well. Butch crafted his experiences and skills to give to others. He will be truly missed and those skills and experiences he shared will live on.

LaVerne, is survived by his mother, Ruth Richter of Plainview; his sisters: LayNette LaFee (John) Plainview; LaJeanna Feuling, Plainview; his two aunts: Kathryn Molitor of Winona, MN; Judy Kokott (John) of Arcadia; his nieces: Brittney Oevering, (Brayden, Lybbi); Laura Moreland (Jerod), (SkyLynn, Hadley, Luna); Salinda Papka, (Weston, Cooper); nephews: Michael, Justin Doughty, mothers side; uncle, Terri (Jeanette) Powell of Gernee, IL.; Timothy and Troy Shannon Powell. 

He was preceded in death by his father, LaVerne Feuling Sr.; grandparents: Raymond and Apollonia Feuling; along with four uncles: Ralph, Edmund, Richard, Robert Feuling; three aunts: Mary Feuling, Adeline, Jeannette Conrad; first cousins: Robert Jr, Daniel, and Keith Feuling; grandparents on mothers side: Troy Powell, Philip & Ruth D’Amico; aunt, Melody (Carl) Miller; Diana Powell; cousin, Taia Miller.

Family and friends are welcome to attend a Celebration of Life, Sunday, October 23, 2022, from 3:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., at the Eagles Club, 210 East 4th Street, Winona, MN, to share condolences and memories of Butch. He will rest next to his father at Calvary Cemetery in Arcadia.
