Ruth M. Jacobs

Ruth Marie Jacobs, 79, of rural Galesville, passed away Friday, February 17, 2023, at Marinuka Manor in Galesville.

Ruth was born April 10, 1943, to the late Colbern and Melva (Pederson) Larson. Ruth was a graduate of Healy Memorial High School, Trempealeau. On March 23, 1963, she married the love of her life, Dennis Jacobs, at Zion Lutheran Church in Galesville. For most of her life, her career was to care for her family. Later she was employed at Northern Engraving before retiring.

Survivors are her husband, Dennis, of Galesville; son, Shane Jacobs of Galesville; three daughters: Debbie (Michael) Edie of Taylor, Rhonda (Kris) Stephenson of Blair, Shelley (Michael) Carafano of Cumming, GA; eight grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Carol (James) Cram; a brother, Larry Larson; and a grandson, Timothy Edie.

Memorial services will be held Friday, February 24, 2023, at 1:00 p.m., at Zion Lutheran Church in Galesville where she was a long time member.

Friends may visit at the church on Friday, two hours prior to service time. Pastor Paul Sannerud officiating. Zwickey Funeral Homes, Galesville Chapel is assisting the family.
