Timothy “Tim” R. Benrud

Timothy Ronald Benrud, 53, originally of rural Galesville, passed away unexpectedly, January 16, 2024, in Saugus, MA.

Tim was born in La Crosse, to Ronald and Sonja (Winters) Benrud, September 19, 1970. He was a graduate of Arcadia High School, Class of 1988. Tim moved to Las Vegas shortly after high school where he became a skilled painter and craftsman, servicing both commercial and residential buildings. He loved racing trucks in the Nevada desert. Tim later lived along the coasts of Alabama and Florida, enjoying the warm sunshine and walking the beaches in his trademark flip-flops.

Survivors are his son, Andrew Benrud of Las Vegas, NV; and brothers: Gregory Benrud of Appleton, WI and Terry Benrud of Las Vegas, NV.

Tim was preceded in death by his mother; brother, Dean Winters; and his father who passed away February 4, 2024.

A memorial gathering will be held Saturday. February 24, 2024, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., at Zwickey Funeral Home, Galesville. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery, Centerville, WI.
