Arcadia, Blair-Taylor race at KC Relays
Both Arcadia and Blair-Taylor participated in the Knights of Columbus Relays last Saturday at Aquinas High School.
Arcadia ran to an 11th place finish in the boys’ races and 13th on the girls’ side, while Blair-Taylor finished 18th in the boys competition.
The Onalaska boys took the team crown with 78 points, edging Holmen at 69.5. The Vikings responded by winning the girls’ competition with 83 points, ahead of second-place Winona (75).
Landan Bremer (400) and sophomore Ted Teske (high jump) had the best performance for Arcadia boys team, each finishing second in their respective events.
Kristoffer Sandal was Blair-Taylor’s lone top-three finisher, taking third in the mile.
Arcadia junior Casidi Pehler was the lone county girl athlete to finish in the top three, winning the pole vault.
