B-T boys win DC True Team meet

The Blair-Taylor boys track team topped the competition in a meet that scores every participant in each event.
The Wildcats scored 1,152 points in the competition, led by Kristoffer Sandal who won the 800, 1600 and 3200.
The Whitehall boys were fifth as they managed second-place finishes in the 1600 and 3200 relays with Nolan Thompson, Ashton Hanson and Caydan Johnston running on both teams. Sawyer Herrick also ran on the 1600 team and Titus Buhl on the 3200 team.
Ben Pyka won the long jump and ran on Independence/Gilmantons’ 400 relay team with Sam Marsolek, Max Marsolek and Mason Gierok.
The Whitehall girls team took third, led by Alexis Correa, winning the triple jump and running on the second-place 400 relay team with Kelsie Klomsten, Nora Bergerson and Aryana Ausderau.
Paige Kelly won the 300 hurdles for B-T and took second in both the 100 and the 200.
Taylor Sylla took second in the 3200 for I/G, as did Callie Zastrow in the shot put.
