Indees win three

After losing two straight games in April, the Independence/Gilmanton baseball team has won five straight, including four games last week.
The Indees began the week with a 4-1 win over Cochrane-Fountain City before they slugged Melrose-Mindoro 15-5 and beat Pepin/Alma 7-1. They also topped Augusta on Friday, though a score was not reported to the Times.
No further information from any of the games was reported to Times, despite a request for copies of the scorebooks.
I/G (7-2 overall, 5-2 in DC play) were scheduled to play Augusta again on Monday of this week, this time on the road, before heading to Blair-Taylor for a doubleheader on Tuesday. They’ll head to Eau Claire Immanuel Lutheran on Thursday and return home to play C-FC on Friday.
Next Thursday they’ll head to Melrose-Mindoro before hosting Eleva-Strum on Friday.
