The Arcadia girls basketball team struggled on both ends of the floor in two Coulee Conference losses to close out the regular season.
The Raiders gave up at least 76 points in a 30-point loss to Onalaska Luther last week Tuesday and allowed 75 in a 38-point loss to West Salem.
Arcadia finished the regular season with a record of 6-18 and 5-7 in Coulee Conference play, ahead of Black River Falls (2-10) and Viroqua (0-12).
The ninth-seeded Raiders played at (8) Adams-Friendship to open Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association regional play on Tuesday of this week. The winner plays at (1) West Salem on Friday.

Golden had a big night, but it wasn’t enough for the Raiders.
The AHS junior scored 30 points as she was able to make shots fall from all over the floor. Pehler added nine points and 10 rebounds while Brynn Aspen scored six and Kanah Slaby finished with one.

Once the Panthers slowed Golden down, they ran away with the win.
Golden fought through numerous double and sometimes triple teams to score Arcadia’s first 10 points and had the team within four at 14-10 with 12 minutes left in the first half. That proved to be unsustainable against one of the best teams in the area, however.
A West Salem three pointer put them ahead by seven. Pehler made two free throws to make it a five-point game, but the Panthers went on to score the next 11 points and they took a 40-18 lead into halftime.
Golden led Arcadia with 12 points, two more than Pehler, who finished with a double-double with 10 rebounds. Kanah Slaby added seven, Alyssa Schank, five and Kianna Suchla, four. West Salem had five players in double figures.
