While snow flurries hit the air over the weekend, work on the new park in Trempealeau continues. Work on installing artificial turf on the East Field was underway in the middle of last week with plans to have it completed by the end of the week. Basketball and pickleball courts have already been put in place and village officials hope to have the parking lot paved and fencing installed before winter. While an opening date has not yet been determined, the hope is that the park will open to the public sometime next spring. (Times photograph by Andrew Dannehy)
